Manager–Maintenance Revenue Management-EMEA
Lawson Software, one of the world's largest ERP providers, has a current need for a Manager of Maintenance Revenue Management to work on the Maintenance Business Management Team of the Support & Delivery Division. As one of Lawson's three lines of business, Support & Delivery manages the company’s maintenance revenue. To that end, our mission is to ensure customer satisfaction around our product by making sure that the products we deliver meet customer expectations, and by fixing them if something goes wrong. The position can reside anywhere in Central, Northen or Southern Europe.
Essential Functions:
- The Manager of Maintenance Revenue Management for EMEA/APAC will manage a team of Maintenance Revenue Managers located all in EMEA and APAC in an effort to maximize the maintenance revenue growth of Lawson Software throughout these theaters. The specific duties of this position are:
- Successfully manage a staff of Maintenance Revenue Managers.
- Consistently achieve quarterly and annual maintenance revenue forecasts that are currently approximately $120 million annually and growing.
- Develop effective revenue generation strategies, tactics and processes
- Successfully renegotiate lower priced existing maintenance agreements
- Successfully convert expiring legacy agreements to Lawson Total Care
- Up-sell new premium maintenance products around the globe to the existing customer base
- Consistently communicate effectively internally and externally
- Develop effective relationships and tactics with other Divisions within Lawson
- Consistently forecast revenues accurately
- Effectively and efficiently manage the Department’s and company’s expenses
- Consistently demonstrate a high degree of communication effectiveness
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve annual and quarterly forecast goals.
- Achieve high renewal rates on all existing agreements.
- Conversion of existing legacy agreements to Lawson Total Care (LTC)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in business, accounting, finance, marketing, etc.
- 10-15 years experience with within the software or related technical industry
- Significant proven leadership/management experience
- Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience working with executive levels of management.
- Significant experience in selling software, maintenance or other technology products.
- High level of computer literacy. Must have significant proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 to 10 years of previous management experience
- 15 to 25 years of software or technology industry experience.
- Experience selling or managing the selling of Maintenance Agreements
Work Environment:
- General office environment
- Periods of high stress will occur
- Ability to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
