The BigCo vendors hate us. Why wouldn’t they? In the markets where we compete, we offer functionality that’s similar to or better than theirs. We also provide a lower total cost of ownership. We also offer simplicity. It’s simpler to acquire, implement, learn, use, and upgrade our solutions. Simplicity means that Lawson customers can act and react more quickly. As their world changes, they can more easily change with it.
For all these reasons, the BigCo vendors don’t like it when we show up in your offices. A common reaction is for them to lower their prices to make it harder for us to get a foothold. So if you want a better discount from them, let them know you’re talking to us. The next time the BigCo vendors show up, serve them coffee in a Lawson mug. That’ll wake them up.
