What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the main functions of the Dispatch department and how they are supported by Lawson M3.
The course covers:
· The concept of dispatch by shipment and the functionality available
· The dispatch by shipment sub processes
· How to activate transportation management, also known as dispatch by shipment
· Routes and route departures
· Transportation lead times
· How to manually assemble shipments via the delivery toolbox and take advantage of this toolbox to the fullest
· How to set up delivery and the shipment toolboxes for maximum visibility.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with supply chain execution who are new to transportation management, or require an overview/refresher.
To fully benefit from this course, we recommend that you have:
· A basic understanding of Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· A basic understanding of Business Process design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it
· Attended Outbound Logistics – Dispatching Goods. It is crucial that you understand the significance of the delivery number before you can focus on the dispatch by shipment sub process.
