Project Management Introduction

This two-day course helps you understand how Project Management can solve different types of needs from the Industry for handling different types of projects. Project Management is focused on providing project managers with the tools they need to manage all aspects of projects from start to finish, be they large or small, simple or complex. It allows you to plan, budget, forecast and follow up on your projects on single or multiple levels.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the functionality to support and implement the project order process within a company. The course highlights the benefits with Project Management, and what to consider when activating the process in a running Lawson M3 environment.

This course will demonstrate how to:
· Setup the basic project management process work flow
· Integrate to other Lawson M3 Applications
· Build the project structure - create templates
· Setup easy budget templates
· Invoice against a project
· Time report against an active project.

Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for end users who work with project management in Lawson M3.

To benefit from this course we recommend that you have:
· A basic understanding of Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· A basic understanding of Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
· Completed the course Project Management Concepts.
