Inbound Logistics - Distribution and Requisition Orders (e)




This half-day course enables you to get the most out of the inbound logistics (sub) process by using Lawson M3. Inbound goods come in many different forms. Furthermore, different industries and companies ship with different types of labelling and documentation. Inbound Logistics enables you to receive goods using a wide range of identifiers. This speeds up the flow of goods and improves cost efficiency and customer service.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the main functions of the warehouse receiving department and how those functions are supported by Lawson M3.

The course covers:
· The concept of inbound logistics and the functionality available
· The inbound logistics processes
· How to receive by delivery number
· How to receive by Serial Shipment Container Code (SSCC)
· How to receive by item number
· How to receive by order number.

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with supply chain execution who either are new to inbound logistics or who require an overview/refresher.

To fully benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
