In-house Logistics (e)
This half-day course enables you to get the most out of the in-house logistics (sub) process by using Lawson M3. Having the right stock in the right place at the right time is important not only between warehouses, but also within individual warehouses. Location movements inside a warehouse can have several causes. Lawson M3 provides rules to manage these movements. Furthermore, well-organized in-house logistics will reduce the work-in-progress stock levels and reduce the inventory cost.
What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the main functions of the warehouse department and how those functions are supported by Lawson M3.
The course covers:
· The concept of in-house logistics and the functionality available
· The in-house processes that include how to:
- Display the inventory and item information
- Perform movements between locations and location replenishment
- Handle both positive and negative requisition orders
- Manage item statistics
- Condition and perform cross-docking
- Perform inventory counting.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for people who work with supply chain execution who either are new to in-house logistics or who require an overview/refresher.
To fully benefit from this course, we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.
