Customer Delivery Schedules (e)




This one-day course will help you to understand the basic concepts and processes within Customer Delivery Schedules. It makes it possible for you to enter the customer’s demands such as consolidated forecasts, sales or production forecast, call-off and just-in-time (JIT) call-offs, sales reports and statistics. Customer Delivery Schedules is designed to receive the demands from the customer both manually and automatically via EDI or other messaging technology such as XML. In the manual or fully automatic flow, different multi-channelled alerts can be optionally monitored.

What Does This Course Cover?
This course aims to help you understand the basic concept and the benefits of using of Customer Delivery Schedules. You should learn how to manage a complete setup and configuration of customer delivery schedules.

In more detail, the course will teach you how to manage:
· Partner hierarchy setup between supplier and customer
· Release principles between forecast and firm orders
· Manually registration of delivery schedules with all its different options
· Validation, activation and net schedule creation
· Replacement / Update of two consecutive delivery schedules
· Reconciliation
· Deviation Management
· Split management
· Delivery pattern
· Item Deviation Management.

The course is build up around a manual delivery schedule taken from a real life example. In the end of the course, a demonstration of automatic reception of a delivery schedule is performed using Amtrix (syntax converter) and Collaborator (business enterprise connector). The course does not cover the JIT Call-Off Management.

Who Should Attend?
This course is recommended for people working within Sales Management, Outbound Logistics and Distribution within industries having characteristics of repetitive deliveries. To benefit from this course we recommend that you have a basic understanding of:
· Lawson M3 and how to navigate in it
· Business Process Design Tool (BPDT) and how to navigate in it.

You should also have the prerequisite knowledge covered in the following course:
· Customer Order Processing—Introduction
· Outbound Logistics – Dispatching Goods.
